airfoil coefficients

Hello,

Airfoil coefficients as calculated by xfoil are valid for an infinite straight wing.

As the airfoil is placed in a swept finite wing these coefficients change

(for example Cl max becomes noticeably smaller).

Does MachUp take these effects in account?

Or should I manually correct the airfoil values before I give them to MachUp?

You will need to correct them. MachUp does not correct airfoil coefficients as a function of sweep. However, that is a topic we are looking at right now and may have a better solution in the future.
