Has anyone made any progress getting hal_pru_generic and hal_bb_gpio modules (or their analogs) running on the Beaglebone AI?

I took a stab at writing my own HAL component to replace hal_bb_gpio that uses sysfs:

Sysfs is deprecated, so it is more of an experiment for me than anything, but maybe someone will find it useful. It does seem to work on the AI right now.
