Hello all,

I have freshly installed Armbian Stretch (Armbian_20.05.2_Orangepione_stretch_current_5.4.43.img.xz from here) running on an OrangePi One. I've successfully installed Machinekit via the command
sudo apt-get install machinekit-rt-preempt.

However, installing a real time kernel (using command dpkg -i linux-image-5.6.17-armv7-rt-x14_1stretch_armhf.deb) selected from documentation causes the OrangePi not to boot (shows just a black screen after rebooting).

Deleting old kernel, trying different versions of Armbian and RT kernel give same result. What do you think might be the problem here?

Cheers.

Sorry, I don't have an OrangePi, so that kernel is untested..

Regards,
