Assassins Mashup Project is our first collaborative publication, with
six total contributing kick ass authors, not to mention two hellafied
artists.

From the "Assassins Mash-up Project Afterword" :
The original idea for the Assassins Project came from Ash Lomen who
propositioned me about doing a piece
together. Ash was interested in doing a short story together and I was
all for it, but I couldn’t get my act together.
(Read: I’m probably a bigger bitch than Ana.)
The outline came along fairly well, but the truth be told, I don’t
play with other kids very well in the sandbox. So
Ash took what we had and wrote the eloquent lines of Assassins on the
Rag. Some of the words are his, some
of them are mine, but the poem is his (thus I have removed my name
from it).
Feeling like a real heel, I wanted to make it up to Ash somehow and
the Assassins Project was born. The idea
was simple: take the Assassins poem by Ash and mash it; make something
original of it. Some real stars joined
in and together we came up with what you have just finished reading.
It’s a heavy dose of mature content that is not for everyone, but we
make no apologies. It is what is it, and it
could be nothing else.
It is my sincere hope that Ash will forgive me my trespasses and
perhaps join up with me to do another project
in the future, especially if it means we can work with the talented
gentlemen who all contributed to the Assassins
Project.
