I've followed numerous articles that I've found through googling and
none of them seem to work.

What I've done:

Copied the binaries (Resharper 4.5 and the Machine.Specification.dll)
to %programfiles%\JetBrains\ReSharper\v4.5\Bin\Plugins
\Machine.Specifications\

Loaded VS2008. Looked in the plugin option of R# and saw that the
plugin loaded version 0.2.0.0.
However once I opened I did not get any test icons, nor could I test
via right click Run Tests.

I tried loading the plugins in the user directory (Application Data\...
\) and had the same results.

Does anyone have it working on the latest trunk (I downloaded this
morning around 8AM CST).

Thanks,

Donn

Sometimes it's fickle about the assemblies you have referenced. Try
removing references to nunit in that project if you have them. Also,
silly question, but you have an "It" in your class right? That's how
it is able to tell.

Also try copying Machine.Specifications.NUnit.dll to the R# plugin dir.

If that fails, I'd ping @agross on twitter, he's good at this :)

Thanks,

Aaron

I couldnt get it to work so in desperation I decided to delete my
local git copy, re download, compile and try again.

Then it worked. Why? I have _no_ idea. But, alas, it works!

Great stuff, thanks Aaron .
