Open HiWi Positions in Representation Learning @ LSV
The Spoken Language System Group (LSV) has two HiWi positions available. You will be collaborating with our team working on representation learning. The focus of our work is on combining natural language representation learning with world knowledge, where world knowledge can be obtained from either visual inputs (images, video) or graph-structured inputs (knowledge graphs, taxonomies, scene graphs).

Setting up an eye-tracking experiment for collecting human gaze information.
Collecting and annotating a corpus of written English with entities and their relationship.
Writing code in deep learning frameworks to perform evaluation of SOTA methods and models.
Collaborating with our team on paper writing and implementing ideas.
The candidate should have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics or in a related field.
The candidate should be familiar with Python and Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow (preferably PyTorch)
The candidate should have a strong interest and familiarity with Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
Both contracts are standard 10h HiWi contracts
