Is there a final exam?

The official final exam schedule published by the university lists a final exam for this class:
"10605 A MCH LRNG LRG DTAST Thursday, May 10 8:30 ‐ 11:30 a.m. GHC 4215"
while the slides from the first lecture show a grade breakdown between only homework, project, and participation, mentioning no final exam whatsoever.

Am I correct in assuming that the lecture slides are authoritative and that there is no final exam?

There is no final exam.

Please note that this is a great opportunity for a sarcastic joke, but I've opted not to make one. I bet no one would think it's funny during finals week.
