Dear all,

On Monday, we will have our mini project presentations. Everyone is invited to attend.

The presentations are supposed to be NO LONGER THAN 4 MINUTES! Use maximum 3 slides (you will then do share screen in zoom and unmute yourself and tell us briefly about your work: motivation, implementation, results). We have about 20 people who expressed interest in doing a mini project, so we will need about one and a half hours to go through all --- I will have to stop you if you go overtime. On the slides, please state your full name and also your email address (so I can keep track of who is who, which is important for the certificates).

I collected all the names of people who expressed interest in the channel discussion here. I propose that we do the presentations in the following order. As you see, for many I only knew the email address:

Ashish K S Arya
akghsh
arpithavelayudhan
Juan Carlos Badilla
Seowon Choi
Francesco Di Colandrea
Suyash Gaikwad
Marta Galbiati
garvitakagarvit
hasansansar
joleonar
kravchenmd
akashkumar
mahnoorf
ali.pmvafa
rajarsi
dominik.rattenbacher
stan.richards
sagarwap2
Shashi Kumar Samdarshi
shivanisemwal
Vishal S V
...and anyone else who wants to present...

In order to get the certificate, besides the little presentation, please also upload a short writeup (2 pages or so) and the program code. You can also combine the two inside a jupyter notebook, for example.

Please upload into the following folder, AT THE LATEST UNTIL JULY 26:

(you have full permissions, please do not move/edit any of the stuff that other people put there)

Please create a folder with your name, like "Emmy_Noether" or "Werner_Heisenberg", and then place your code and writeup (and maybe also the slides) inside.

Thank you very much!

I am sure the presentations on Monday will be fun. I am looking forward to them.

Best regards,
Florian

Dear all,

Please upload your mini project material (program code and 2 pages or so writeup; possibly combined inside a notebook) into the upload folder, as explained in the previous message, by Monday July 26.

Once you have done so, to get the certificate, please send an email to me (cc Gesine...@mpl.mpg.de) to inform us. Also, for the certificate, we would need (in that email):

(1) to identify you: your full name (including any title like Dr. if applicable), how you would like to be addressed (Mr/Mrs/Ms), date of birth, present place of residence or employment (can be also simply the present university or institution or company)
(2) the title of your mini-project as it should appear in the certificate

Best regards,
Florian
