Uploading Homework:
The problem is this folder, which says it is "Folders shared with me", does not appear in my "Folders shared with me" collections. So when I go to upload there is no way for me to up load to the folder. This is apparently a known issue and there is a long thread with many different suggestions on how to fix it.
The final, and working solution is as follows:
Hi Everyone,
We definitely hear you that our current system doesn't fit your expectations. Since the folder was shared to a mailing list that you are on, you'd like the folder to show up under "Folders shared with me". The way the system currently works, is that folders have to be directly sent to your email address for them to show up under "Folders shared with me."
The current workaround is to click on "Show search options" and select Folders from the Type drop-down menu. Then select the folder in question and drag it into a folder of your own on the left hand side. (For example, create a folder called "Group folders" and then drag and drop your shared folder into there.) This way the folder will also be available to you when you want to upload items.
I hope this helps. We are working on a better, more long term solution.
Best wishes,
Rebecca
Thanks,
Stephen...

Dear Stephen,
There is a button labeled "share". After you upload your file, use the "share" button to allow access to the class. I hope this helps you. If it doesn't, let me know and I will try giving more explanation.

I am not familiar as I should be with google docs. I have tried uploading the files to this folder and it seems to just want to go to my personal storage. There is no "obvious" way to make these folders part of my shared storage, of course I am probably looking right at it....
Suggestions?
Thanks,
