Hackerdojo on Hearst Leaderboard

Hello Everyone:

Hope you all had a good holiday weekend. As you all know we did a Hearst hackathaon at Akamai. We made quite a bit of progress on that day but we were not done.

Debnath and I did our own 25 hour (straight) hackathon starting last Saturday with the goal of getting us on the Leaderboard and we are currently at 42 with RMSE of 20.2304 (team HackerdojoML1).

Most of our time spent in just managing the data and understanding the guidelines. We have automated quite a bit and we are trying to improve the algorithm at this point. We were also limited by processing power of the machines we had. A lot more on the "fun" things we learned in the class.

We are now waiting for final dataset.
