Here is a ridiculous question. Does anyone have access to a USB Iomega Zip drive? My wife has a bunch of zip disks from her father's home that she wants to examine. I suggested that she toss them, environmentally responsibly of course, but she wants to try looking through them. I hate to go the eBay route and shell out $100-200 but that is the most likely path.
Fun fact - according to
recent versions of macOS don't natively support legacy Mac-formatted Zip disks, but they do support legacy MS-DOS and Windows disks.

I may be able to support SATA or serial  interface through my son's Windows machine.

Cheers,

Thanks, Linda, but I don’t think that I have a machine with a scsi interface.

If it helps, I have a SCSI Iomega Zip Drive that can be had for the price of shipping from Murrieta, CA. Original box Includes the SCSI cable, Zip Drive, and Zip Tools disk.
