I have found several bugs in the PSMTabBarControl code on tip of the
repository. I wrote up an Issue for one of them. I'm willing to
write up the others if it will lead to something. Should I do this,
or would I be wasting my time?

Thanks,
Keith

Hi Keith,

The code is updated whenever we are aware of a problem, so please do
submit issue tickets. And thanks for providing a patch for your ticket.

I'm not prepared to accept your patch because I don't know how it will
affect projects that use it (e.g. Adium). I don't mean to say that
your reasoning is wrong or that your patch *won't* be accepted, just
that we have to make sure the behavior is what we want and what
current users expect.

Evan, Chris, Peter -- what would this patch do to Adium? Am I right in
interpreting this that we get a "tab closed" message when we're
tearing off a tab?

Regards,
Ryan Govostes

How about we leave this thread for the is-the-codebase-being-
maintained question, and let discussion of the ticket happen on the
ticket?

I'd agree.

As to the codebase being maintained, yes it is. I'm out of town this
weekend, but I plan to put out a tarball with the current source as
release 1 next week.

Plans do change of course.

Hey Chris, I hope your release can wait until the resolution of my
issues. I'll have the remaining issues written up by the end of the
day tomorrow.

Thanks,
Keith

That'd be great. Basically the release is going to be a svn co --no-externals (or whatever that svn switch is). This way anyone who has an svn client can update the tarball easily, and get a lot more code to go along with it. I wanted to release this soonish due to wwdc, so that's also part of it.

OK, I think I am done with my issues. I updated issue #11 and created
issues #20 and #21. I have provided solutions for everything. I hope
that my suggested solutions can make it into the source before the
software is released. If there is anything more I can do, please let
me know.

Thanks,
Keith

Hey guys, I see that tekjew committed my changes for issue #11.
Thanks tekjew. I hope someone will commit my changes for issues #20
and #21 as well before the first release.

Thanks!
Keith
