Lady Macbeth is a very strong woman. We can see this in how she uses her power to persuade Macbeth into killing Duncan. Without Lady Macbeth's push, Macbeth would not have gone and completed the deed. The Lady told Macbeth he was not a man if he couldn't do it, especially since she could do it herself. Usually when men hear this it drives them to prove a point, and this is exactly what Macbeth did. Lady Macbeth made it a point that she did not care for the death of Duncan and showed no remorse. On the other hand, Macbeth was all over the place after he had killed him. He was worrying and feeling bad about what he had just done until Lady Macbeth slapped him out of it. It was obvious she did not care for anyone/thing except for her personal gain.

Great job understanding the feelings displayed by both MacBeth and Lady MacBeth. I think that you are correct that it was the persuasion by a woman that convinced Macbeth to commit the crime. There was certainly a lot of sexism during the time Shakespeare was writing!
