Tulane University will host a Macaulay2 workshop from April 14 - April 18, 2025.
This event is a five-day intensive Macaulay2 development workshop. All participants will work to develop packages and extend the core functionality of Macaulay2. The workshop will feature a two-day mini-school, which will provide basic tools for the participants new to Macaulay2.
Projects include:
1. Invariant theory of tensors and auxiliary algebras led by Luke Oeding.
2. Computations of invariants of linearly reductive groups led by Francesca Gandini.
3. Injective resolutions for topological data analysis led by Thomas Kahle.
4. Gaussian mixture models led by Julia Lindberg.
5. Subvarieties under birational maps led by Liam Solus and Tobias Boege.
