M2 Workshop at UW-Madison (Summer 2025)

Hi everyone,

We will be hosting a Macaulay2 workshop at UW-Madison the week of June 30 - July 4, 2025 (the week before SIAM AG). This is a five-day package development workshop, and people with all levels of experience are invited to apply. Projects (and project leaders) include:

• Elimination temples (Tim Duff)
• Expanding interval arithmetic in Macaulay2 (Michael Burr)
• Traces and norms of symmetric bilinear forms (Gabriel Ong and Sabrina Pauli)
• Cp-Mackey functors (Thomas Brazelton and Ben Spitz)
• tbd (Michael Brown and Greg Smith)

Registration is now open. Please apply by March 25th if you need funding, and before May 30th if you don't.
