I would like to confirm the PNG tournament dates in archery at Silay City. According to an email I read from one of our group members, the official practice day was moved from May 24 to May 25. The tournament proper or qualifying event shall start on May 26th. I need the information to adjust my itinerary.

To all the NSAs participating in the Philippine national games:

Our POC-PSC National Games are fast approaching and one of the ways we want to promote the event among the people in Bacolod is to come out with a 16 page supplement in the Visayan Star newspaper on May 22. We are dedicating one half page to each sport and this is now your opportunity to make your sport known to the public. I would like to request you to prepare a short write-up that we can publish in the newspaper. Maximum length is 1200 words and it will be good if we can cover the following information:

1. What the sport is all about

2. How is it played

3. What to look out for

4. Who to watch - special athletes

5. Who are the people behind the NSA

It will be good if you can add pictures (action shots, pictures of athletes, etc) that will be also good.

What's happening at the Panaad Complex?

Caitlin went there yesterday to register and get her ID. They got her picture, had her fill up a registration form and told her to come back the next day. She's there right now, expecting to get her ID, pero it seems may glitch ang system nila. Nawala din yung data ni Caitlin that they said they encoded from her registration form I talked with a certain Mr. Mijares and from what I understand, they or their computers are overwhelmed by the number of athletes trying to register. Yvette is also not around to provide assistance.

Right now, we don't know if Caitlin is registered again (not counting the online registration), this time at the site of the Games.

Ma'm, kung nandyan na kayo sa Bacolod, maybe you could help out the
archers who are encountering, or will encounter, the same problem.
