VMware Fusion 2.x issue

I'm running VMware Fusion 2.0.6 on my 10.6.2 MBP. I have two guest systems, both have two interfaces, one interface is bridged, the other is host only. I'm trying to have one guest use PXE to boot from the other guest. I've done this numerous times with real physical hardware.

I can see in the logs from the guest that is providing dhcpd, tftp, etc. that the DHCP requests are reaching it and dhcpd is sending a response. The response never makes it back to the other guest OS, or so it appears as the virtual Intel NIC never reports getting an IP assigned and thus nothing else can happen. :(

Any tips/insights appreciated.
