Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anyone here on this list would know a Mac tool doing
approx the same as Apsic Xbench does on PC?

Thank you for your help!

In the Okapi Framework, the application CheckMate is quite similar.
I have not extensively tested XBench so I may be mistaken though.

Thank you, Jean-Christophe. I will have a closer look at this tool to figure out if it can help me with my project.

Right now, I do not really need good QC features, but I am just looking for a tool capable of searching contents in a list a Excel files for terminology consistency purposes. I remember using Search & Replace years ago (a basic but useful tool that would do the trick atm) on Windows too, but I do not know of any alternative on Mac.

Anyway, I will search the Internet for similar tools and post here any useful information I may found, if any.

I don't think I ever used Xbench (in virtual Windows) to its full potential, but it seems Checkmate still lags behind in its inability to check glossary term usage in source and target in some cases.

But for most operations, I guess Checkmate is very satisfactory.
