Mac tool like CountAnything?

Does anyone know if there is a Mac tool like the Windows CountAnything (for getting word and character counts for Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

I use OmegaT, so don't have a problem myself, but am interested in seeing if a similar tool exists for Macs. So far I've not found anything that does the job.
