Say you have an EN-JP TMX file and an EN-FR TMX where EN is shared between the 2 files.
To get an EN-FR-JP file that you can use in a JP-FR project you need to "smart merge" them.
The Okapi Framework doesn't have a solution on the Mac, the only possibility is to use the old .NET version of Olifant in a Window virtual machine: you open one of the files and import the other based on the contents of the EN segments. That's pretty fast.
Another solution is to use Maxprogram's new TMXEditor: import the TMX and consolidate the segments. I did not try because Rodolfo informed me of the feature after I completed the task in Olifant, but I'm glad we have such a feature on the Mac.
Rodolfo, if you want to add a comment about how it works, go ahead!
