Does anyone here by any chance use DEVONAgent Pro?

If so, how have you found it and was support all it was supposed to be cracked up to be?

Thanks,

Will

Never had to use the support but the programme itself is fairly easy to learn. I use it in conjunction with Devon Think Pro. Agent is good for searching for info/terms, etc. and Think is good for archiving it for re-use later.

There is a learning curve BUT I didn't find it a particularly onerous one. I don't really think Ive delved all that deeply into all the things both programmes can do but I find them both useful for finding info and making it re-fidnable.

Thanks, Tam.

I should have been more specific. I've been trialling Pro for a few days off and on for over a week and have been finding that the plugins and search sets I've created are delivering either too much unnecessary/unrelated data or are returning loads of links in the Log tab, but nothing in the Digest or Results pane.

I sent their support an email and received a reply for more info, so sent another mail outlining what I was doing, supplied plugins and search sets and gave examples of terms I was researching, but that was a week and a half ago and so far no reply.

I sent a follow up email a few days ago asking if there was a problem getting back to me, but again, nothing but silence.

Doesn't instil a great deal of trust in me for their product or how they support it, I'm afraid.

All the best,

Will

Glad I haven't run into problems with it yet then. That's a poor poor show.

Yeah, I can't say I'm particularly chuffed. :(
