Hi all!
I have recently started using mac system so I installed Wordfast.
After having to switch to MS Office 2004, I came across another
problem: I can do some of the things I usually do in my Windows
computer.

I can´t "open" the Data Editor". Nothing happens when I click on the
icon or the drop-down list.
Nothing appears on the screen. That happens also with the classic Set-
up.

Am I doing something wrong or missing something really basic here?

Thanks!!!

You did nothing wrong. It's a known issue on Mac.

Rodolfo

Eugenia,

Although it is possible that you find people who can answer you here,
you'd have much more reliable support on the Wordfast list:

Hi Eugenia,

I just read your exchanges with the m4t community about wordfast. I've
recently started familiarizing myself with Omega T, but I haven't had the
opportunity to use it a lot yet. What I'd really like to know is how it
compares with Wordfast, so maybe you could comment on that once you've get a
feel for the program. I don't have any experience with other CAT tools
except for a crash course in Trados. It would probably be easiest to
continue with Trados, but I don't feel like working at a pc again. Another
option would be to intall Parallels om mac (to run Windows virtually), but
I'm still in the process of evaluting Omega T. So I'd be interested to hear
your opinion, I realize this will take a while, but when your thru, if you
have a moment, please drop me a line.

Thx. Tessa

Hi Tessa

Yesterday Istarted with OT, so it will take a while, of course.
I will install today vmweaver to run Windows, but I don´t think I will go back, it´s just that I have some dictionaries and stuff like thta.

Anyway, when I have an opinion, I´ll write about it.....but, what do you think about OT?

Bye!!

Install 2.0 instead of 1.8. It does not have a fully updated user
manual but it is much faster than 1.8.
