RIP Randy !

So sad to announce the passing of long time MABRA / Chesapeake Wheelmen member Randy Nixon.

 

Randy joined us during the mid 1980's and from that point on very involved with the sport he loved.

 

Husband, Father, Attorney, Entrepreneur, Coach, he will be missed.

For most recreational bike racers ( that's most of us) he was a picture of enthusiasm. 

 

More recently he beat prostate cancer and was well on the road to getting in shape for the up coming TT's and especially the  Maryland and National Sr TT  Championships.

 

Will miss him the most at those post ride coffee & snack breaks.

You'll be missed Randy.
