Goon ride March 2021?

Anyone know if this is getting resurrected?  Last year it appeared to start around this time of year at 5:30 pm.  New pavement, fewer commuters, and increased road blockages should add to safety.

It's doubtful that the Goonies are going to risk barrelling through every gate, single file as the gates are still closed.  Plus there are too many walkers and parents with their kids riding bikes out.

Never underestimate the goofiness of the Goons, Fanger. If you belonged to the Goon Group on Strava - and really, why aren't you? - you'd have read the following from about four weeks ago:

The 2021 Goon starts on Tuesday 3/16. The RCP is closed to cars from the DC line so, we have to either use the alternate route (going out on Tuckerman) or stay in the park and slow down at each gate entrance and exit points. We can take a vote on Tuesday. For those who have gotten their COVID vaccine shots, please consider wearing your mask and stay on the back of the group, for those who have not, please consider wearing your mask and stay in the front of the group and refrain from talking or spitting!!
