Hi everyone,

This is for race promoters or anyone else for that matter. I have a LOT of fabric fencing from when I promoted Winchester AppleCross that I am happy to give to anyone wanting it. Great for securing areas where you want to ensure the course is kept clear. Pic attached to see how much there is. I need to know quickly so I can take it out of the load I have going to the dump. I’d need it picked up in Winchester by June 29th.

Hey all! I wanted to let everyone here know that DC Cyclocross Clinic is coming back for a second year on Saturday, August 8 in Hyattsville, Maryland, at Driskell Park (venue of Hyattsville CX)!

Bluemont Connection and Crosshairs Cycling are once again teaming up with our friends at Haute Factory Racing to bring you this all-day clinic. The clinic will be coached by UCI-level athletes and is open to all experience levels (including those who have never tried cyclocross!), ages 18 and up. For beginners, this clinic will give you a solid foundation of skills and race prep to help you work your way through the field. And for those with more experience under their belts there will be a separate track to help you sharpen your skills and learn some new techniques. Skills covered will include:

  • race starts

  • cornering

  • dismounts and remounts

  • barriers

  • bike carrying and shouldering

More advanced racers may cover additional skills, such as bunny hopping, as time allows.

Lunch and light snacks will be provided.

We hope to see you on August 8!
