MABRA Annual Meeting is *Sunday* and Welcome to new board members & volunteers!

Good morning all,

Friendly reminder that the MABRA Annual Meeting is on Sunday (Jan 11) from 2-5pm at the Jane E. Lawton Community Center in Chevy Chase. For more details on the meeting, see this news post on the MABRA website. Most importantly, following a year-in-review, we will be voting on the proposal to raise race officials' pay. We'll then have breakout sessions for race directors to discuss their 2026 calendars. 

Next, please welcome (and vote for) your new Rider’s and Women’s Representatives: Taylor Hayek (Total Civil Construction) and Dominique Mack (NCVC)!  Although the elections for both of these Board positions are uncontested, please read the candidate statements here to learn more about them and consider casting a supporting vote at this link.  

We are also very happy that Nalette Brodnax (Getting It In Cyclists) is joining the MABRA board as our interim member-at-large. She'll be joined by our two new volunteers: Sam Brummit has already been hard at work as our new social media coordinator, and Bassel Shalaby is stepping into the road coordinator role.
