Hi All,
Up for sale is my 2008 Specialized Tarmac with a mix of good
components. Originally bought in June of 2009, this bike was used for
the remainder of 2009, all of 2010, and for a few rides in 2011. I
built another road bike over the 2010/11 winter, have no need for two
road bikes, and have barely used this bike this year. I just tuned the
bike with relatively new GORE cables (derailleurs and brakes -
approximately 400 miles of use). I replaced the chain last winder
(approximately 600-700 miles of use). This bike is in fantastic
condition with minor cosmetic blemishes from 2.5 years of use. Most of
the components are original where some of have been replaced to due
wear or preference. Below are the specs:
Frameset: 58cm Specialized Tarmac Comp Full FACT Carbon, Orange/Blue
STI Levers: Shimano Ultegra (ST-6600)
Handlebars: Specialized alloy, 44cm
Stem: Specialized Alloy, 110mm
Seat: Specialized Toupe, 143mm
Seatpost: Specialized Pave Carbon w/zertz insert, 27.2mm
Crankset: SRAM '07 Force Compact GXP, 50/34 (mild use for end of 2010
and the following winter)
Bottom Bracket: Standard SRAM GXP
Front Derailleur: Shimano 105 (ST-5600)
Rear Derailleur: Shimano Ultegra (ST-6600)
Brake Calipers: Shimano 105
Brake and Derailleur Cables: GORE w/ black housings (very smooth)
Grip: Bontrager Gel, black
Chain: Shimano Ultegra w/KMC quick link
Bottle Cages: Specialized Alloy (blue)
Wheelset: Shimano RS-10
Front Tire: Continental GP4000s (700x23c)
Rear Tire: some Bontrager tire (700x23c - new, about 100 miles on it)
I do have a set of Shimano 105 pedals that are optional (at no cost)
with this bike and also a Shimano 105 crank (53t/39t) that is also
optional. Please inquire about these items if you're interested.
I'm asking $950 for the bicycle as-is. If you would like a test-ride
please plan to bring $950 cash as collateral.
Thanks for looking.
