Hyattsville CX finishing “straight”

What some if not all of you may not know is that every year about this time I’ll ride out to Driskell Park to see how the city painted the soccer fields. We can’t go on them so the final course is entirely dependent on where the playing fields are painted.

So I saw the new configuration as an opportunity. The new finish will start with a sweeper then over the barriers - closer to the tents like in years past! And a final sweeper into the finish. Still fast, but maybe an opportunity for a pass close to the line.

We should have this section done by about 2 for anyone who wants to come out for a Saturday pre ride.
