Greenbelt update-Racers arriving by bike

Below is the draft that will be used to update the event notes.  I'll send the link to the reg page when all the updates are in and will also send them to the registered racers.

It's worth repeating.  We are all the stewards of the Series.

In addition to the course being car free for the safety of the racers, the Park Police will enforce minimal to no mixing of non-racing cyclists on the course during races.  

Cyclists who enter the park at Dogwood/the Turn off Good Luck Rd. during the 6pm race must STOP before joining the course and follow the instructions of the Park Police and the volunteer course marshall. Riders may only enter the course when it is deemed safe, and then must stay on the LEFT SIDE, SINGLE FILE before safely turning into the Sweetgum parking lot. 

Cyclists who enter the park from the Main entrance off Greenbelt Road during the 6pm race may encounter a line of cars on the entrance road leading to the inner roadway used for the course. Cyclists must dismount and walk past the cars, across the course, and enter the Sweetgum lot through the grass field. This will also be the path to exit the park. 

Cyclists racing at 6pm and exiting by bike must wait to exit until at least the start of the 7pm race to allow vehicular traffic to enter and exit the park during the "passing period." They should stay on the left side, single file while exiting.
