Greenbelt Reg opens tomorrow, Wednesday April 15

Hello, 

Reg opens up for the 2026 season of Greenbelt tomorrow, April 15 at Noon.

Rather than succumb to what seems like a case of writer's block, I'll be more on the less wordy side of the tracks.

We are definitely glad to get the new season started after factoring in a few changes from the Park Service.  We hope to keep the spirit of Greenbelt while taking the needed steps to keep the series afloat.

This is a brand new series, well, think of it that way.  We are all going to have to be mindful of our impact on the park and  how to keep the safety of all participants as our main focus.  

Aside from the changes mentioned prior, we needed to raise the cost per race that only reflect our goal of long term viability of the series.  Costs will only be adjusted based on cost of production and to reflect new sponsorship.  

I am pleased to announce that the C Women's field has been reduced thanks to the generosity of a sponsor. 

I encourage you all to reach out directly if you have any questions or concerns.  I'll respond as soon as able.
