FasTrack Junior Training Race Series

Hello MABRA! The Fastrack junior racing series presented by Rock Creek Velo and Baltimore Youth Cycling is back again! Our first event is next Saturday, 4/25, in Catonsville. 

Fastrack is a clinic/race series that introduces young riders to racing on the road. Each race day runs roughly from 8:00am until noon with kids being coached in bike handling and racing skills and racing 3 races throughout the morning. Riders will be split up into teams with other junior riders from the area and will race to accumulate points for their team. There are no individual awards or rankings.

This series is for riders who are aged 9-14 (by December 31, 2026 ). All racers 9-12 years old are welcome to participate. For 13-14 year olds, this series would only be appropriate for beginner racers. Road or gravel tires are recommended.

We also need coaches to help make this a success! If you are SafeSport trained, please consider volunteering for one or more events to help get the next generation of riders hooked on road racing!
