searching for accessible nodes is a MAC-Adress-Broadcast. Some antivirus-programms are blocking it with a function called like "Network-Protect" or similar. Try to disable this function or the whole anti-virus-scan. Maybe an other device in your network is blocking that function(switch, router). This MAC-address-broadcast is not routable with IP-routing, because there is no IP(lower-OSI-level)
In the project tree there is a section named "Online access". If you expand that, you can see all options on your TIA Portal installation for searching for devices. Expand the network adapter connected to your PLC. Have it update and perform a search.
The point is, wireless network adapter works fine but ethernet controller does not. Might it be due to driver installation of tia portal? Because I can connect with any other device over ethernet but it does not show up anything when it comes to accessible nodes/devices at Tia Portal.
