I am happy to convey the plans for Internships in Community Mental Health in MHAT. The details are as follows.

• Starting date: 1st of June 2015
• Eligibility: TISS students from MHAT, Banyan and Mumbai campuses who have successfully completed MA courses in Social Work with Specialisation in Mental Health and Applied Psychology with Specialisation in Clinical Psychology
• Duration: 1 year
• Full time/Part time: Full time candidates preferred
• Stipend: There will be a fixed number of stipendiary posts (numbers and amount of stipend to be finalised) and non-stipendiary posts. 
• How to apply: Please write to me with a copy of up to date CV and a personal statement (1000 words) of the reasons for applying and what the candidate wishes to achieve through the internship
• Selection process: Selection will be based on the applications above. In the case of there being more candidates for the stipendiary posts than the actual number of posts, there will be a personal interview.
• Aims & content of internship: Interns will be provided with clinical exposure and training, research opportunities, involvement in teaching and regular academic sessions. There will be special emphasis on equipping trainees to compete successfully for further training such as MPhil courses. 
• Certificate: A Certificate of Successful Completion of Internship will be awarded at the end of one year.
• Last date to apply: 30th of April, 2015
