M4RI 20110601.alpha0

I just put together 20110601.alpha0, i.e. the first alpha for the next
official M4RI release. I tested this release on OSX, Linux 32-bit and 64-bit
and on Solaris SPARC. I couldn't reach my usual Itanium machine, hence I
haven't tested there yet.
Well, here it is:

As far as I can see for this release to go live we need:
1) finish the release notes:
https://bitbucket.org/malb/m4ri/wiki/M4RI-20110601
2) And check whether we need to update the website, the README and the AUTHORS
file
3) Test on Windows. I'll write about this in a separate e-mail in a minute.
