Here is all the documentation I have so far.

Start with intro!

Rather a lot of it.  Mostly just designs at this stage, but some of it has worked.

Been at it for about 8 months now, though not full-time.

In continuous conversation with several others, including the GAP team in
St. Andrews and Thackray (who did this sort of stuff in the late 1970's).

Please bear in mind that everything is draft at this stage, and not intended to
enter the public domain.  Having said that, it is by no means secret.  Feel free
to show it to and to discuss this with friendly, interested parties - just bear in
mind that it is a snapshot and was not written for public viewing!

It was my initial attempt to write the layer 5 spec that made me stumble upon
you guys, and there is nothing worth having at a higher level than this.
