Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs Station is at the heart of a 6-city area.

3 cities at or near the station area, but currently area is fragmented by industrial corridor

HSR stop will be Ideal location in between major urban hubs of LA and Anaheim

Station area has potential, along with Norwalk City Center, to be the center for the region

But lacks identity

 

Our goals are to tie the station area together and to create catalyst population

Disney workers are the catalyst population

Bridge system is the tying together

 

By 2050 we imagine

 

By 2020 we propose the start of the bridge over the immediate station area

We propose the start of Disney housing immediately adjacent

We propose making imperial highway in the station area a living street
