Alertmanager integration

Hello,

I'm wondering if the M3 Query integrates with Alertmanager.

I found an article from Rob Skillington saying so, though - https://www.tfir.io/monitoring-for-organizations-at-scale-with-m3-and-prometheus/

Could someone approve (or vice versa)? Documentation does not really say anything.

Hi Denys,

Looking at the Prometheus Alertmanager config (see here: https://www.prometheus.io/docs/prometheus/latest/configuration/configuration/#alertmanager_config), you should be able to set M3Query as your `remote_read` endpoint (see here: https://www.prometheus.io/docs/prometheus/latest/configuration/configuration/#remote_read). So if you already have Alertmanager up and running, then you can just add the M3 remote read and write endpoints to the config, and you should be good to go. 

We will also look into adding this to / updating current M3 documentation as well. Thanks for the question!
