M 24 SE Group Welcome To Roger Counihan..........ATLANTA FLEET

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Roger as a new member and boat owner, to the Altanta Fleet and SE Melges 24 Group.

Roger has a strong racing background including………. J/24's, Lightnings, and Lasers in Annapolis since 1999. He has been a strong competitor in many events including and CORK, Buzzards Bay in the Laser, 2009 Worlds in the J/24, and East Coast Championships in the Lightning.

He was the president of the UVA sailing club from 2002-2005. In college he raced Lasers, FJ's, 420's, J/24's, and Colgates……………I have a feeling he will be moving up the rankings in M24 soon !!!

Please welcome Roger to the Melges 24 Group and help him out where you can.

Should we let Roger know about the tradition of when you buy a new (or used) boat... to buy the fleet members a handle of Mt Gay as a "offering" to be accepted into the fleet?
