Subject: LLPHRF Committee Request concerning ratings applications (and current ratings)

The committee would like to stress the importance of noting any changes to the original design of a boat.
Changes could include large roach mainsails, over-sized spin poles, over-sized jibs and spinnakers, altered underwater foils,
removal of interior fixtures, etc.  Any changes in these items need to be noted on the phrf application, so that the committee
can decide whether or not an adjustment to the rating is warranted.
Boats that do not need to renew this year are still obliged to inform the phrf committee of any changes from original design
they may not have divulged before.  It is the contention of the committee that, for a level playing field, these alterations in
original design need to be addressed.
Please support the "honor system" implicit in our competition on the lake, and inform the committee of any changes to your boat.
