Wanted: "Ann Eliza Jane," lyrics By Frankie Miller

Anyone have, or know where I can get them? I cannot make them out from
the recording...

Thanks in advance,
Ron

Hi Ron,
I'm looking for the same thing. Why don't we compare notes? Here's what I got from listening (much of it wrong):

By the light of the moon
In a foggy saloon
I was drinkin my last piece of gold

When the thoughts from behind
Took away my loaded mind
And it led me to my child and my soul

Ann Eliza Jane
Never thought I'd hear again
The whisper of your voice so soft and true

Ann Eliza Jane
When I heard that you'd became a queen
With that satin dress you wear can't be you

Well she looks at my clothes
And she told me money grows
On the branches of evil and sin

For a man that may be true
For a simple girl like you
I say you ought be back home and settle down

Ann Eliza Jane
Never thought of marrying
A farmin boy and livin off the land

Ann Eliza Jane
Now the hopes are here some night and day
You better pack your bags And make a decent stand

To the haze in the gals
Show the still that came to pass
When she tried to slip me four and twenty buck

Now I say keep it sis
And she stung me with her fists
She left before I'd time to say good luck

Ann Eliza Jane
I think of you in gentle ways
No matter what you do or where you go

Ann Eliza Jane
When the good guys and gals go every day
Sing you a song

I hold your vow just night and day
You better pack your bags and make a decent stand

Through the haze and the gas
Sure the still night came to pass
When she tried to slip me four and twenty buck

Now I say keep it sis

Let the good god guide your every day
And erase any sin that's on your soul

Playing it G Em C D, see if that works out. It's probably a bluffer a way but it works. I can get it to work
