HELP! Everybody I have asked is stumped and I can't google it. This has been
driving me crazy for years. This came out in 1982-83 as I recall. Early MTV
anyway. One of the first ones I ever saw as a young teen.

Male singer; one-hit wonder? This guy was not glamorous-looking; kind of a
Stevie Ray Vaughn type as I recall.

Video set in daytime: honky-tonk/ biker bar in the desert. Not much plot as
I recall, but singer interacting w denizens of this remote hangout. There is
a scene of him breaking at pool table, which I believe was used in MTV ads
at the time. Maybe a scene of someone peeling out in dirt parking lot?

Lyrics (probably mis-heard, I have never been able to google them up) +
guitar chords
G
"Well, if it feels all right,
Em
"Why don't you ever tell me that you want me
C
"And it feels all right
D
"Whoa-whoa-yeah-yeah, I just want to hear you say..."

This is kind of a "Runaround Sue" type chord progression.

Well, there it is. All my clues. Can anybody help? End my misery!

Sounds kind of like a Night Ranger video. Loverboy had a video like that
also.

Someone on VH1 classic mtv message board correctly identified this song as
"Our Love Leads to Madness", by Nazareth. The video is on YouTube if
anybody's interested.
