It was one of those days that feels like an investment made for decades!

83 schools represented
215 students in the house
A great mentoring environment
More than 50 mentors with bigger hearts than that of 500 people

If you think this is the recipe for a day well spent, well you are absolutely right and we had fun (no, brought the roof down) while at it!

The English language is insufficient to describe the impact made to the students..A small sample of what some said about the experience:

'' My self esteem has been restored''
'' I can't believe you took time to spent with someone like me, am forever grateful''
'' My dream of being a surgeon has been rejuvenated''
'' My life will never be the same again''
'' I feel worth more than a billions shillings now''
'' After listening to you, I am more focused than ever in scoring the A''

In a nutshell, we had a great day out at Githunguri mentoring beneficiaries of the Palm House Foundation program that sponsors young Kenyans through high school.

Thanks to:

Dr. Maria Wanyonyi
Priscilla Rubia
Nebila Abdulmelik
David Momanyi

And all the others who might have made their own way

Kind regards,

Ouko EF
