The photo on the page for Giovanni Tommasso Monigatti and Isabella Moore/Muir does indeed show the the birthplace of G.T.M, it is the village of Viano (not the town of Brusio which is below Viano in the Poschiavo valley). Sue Monigatti (grand-daughter of William Tell M.) went to Viano in the 1980's, and met several Monigattis there. I'm the grand-daughter of Peter Fidel M.

Thanks for your message Amanda regards GTM's birth place. Apologies for late reply; I was away. I have corrected the Monigatti page. Was Giovanni's father Pietro also born in Viano?
