Hi, came across your web site.  Elizabeth Duffield married Mathew Newlove, my ancestor.  When Elizabeth died Mathew married Ann Wallace; they had more children one of which is Eliza Newlove.  She married William Carter, they had Joseph Carter 1859.  Joseph married Margeret Alice Tattersall 1880, they had nine children, the youngest Grace Carter my grandmother.

The Newloves were a farming family.  Thomas Newlove, Mathew's father married Ruth Carling of Etton.  Thomas Carling, her nephew, is the founder of the Carling Brewery; there is a plaque on the village hall dedicated to the Carling family.
