Nice to connect with you we are going to Ireland in November and I have been trying to get to the point where I know exactly what we have got to search for they are such a mixed up and interconnected family

Lucky you, getting to Ireland!

After marrying and having a couple of kids, our Frances ended up in Glasgow, Scotland with her husband James Crawford, where they had more children.  Their daughter Frances Crawford, my direct ancestor, died following the birth of her first child, William Kidd.  William went to sea and ended up here in New Zealand.  His daughter Margaret was my paternal grandmother.

I have been having a look at my research and when I look at Sarah Nethery we didn't have a sister Frances and the Robert we have married Francis Chittick, they went to Scotland with their children, we haven't been able to find what happened to Robert and Frances, but their 2 children James and William came out to Australia as orphans under the care of the Vance family. 

On their immigration record it says they have family here an Aunt Mary and cousins Robert Anderson after much research we discovered Mary was Mary Chittick Frances Chitticks sister.

I have also seen I am not sure where that Sarah Nethery gave some money to her orphaned nephews Sarah being Robert Nethery's sister. I am not sure if you have seen or heard of any of this at all.

Hi Ann

The trees I've seen on Ancestry don't include our Frances either but I found a reputable transcription of her birth entry to parents John & Diana.  Here's the link if you're interested -
