Hi Deborah
I am also a descendant of the Wilmshurst line.
My name is Gloria Sattler.  My Great Grandmother was Rosina  Elizabeth Webb (nee Wilmshurst).  Rosina married Thomas Webb 1885.  They had 7 children.  I am thru that child being Charles Raymond Webb.
The same as Michelle, not aware that we have ever been in contact, would love to hear more.
I hold a family tree scrapbook that shows from when Rachel and John Wilmshurst met and married and all their children and their descendants, but there are a few gaps that would love to be able to fill.

Cheers

Hi Gloria ,

I am also a descendant of the Wilmshurst line, but I bit further away , and in the UK .

my Grand-Mother (Edith Wilmshurst) was a descendent of John's  uncle, George Wilmshurst,  in Kent, England.

Any information about John and Rachel would be very welcome , especially if there was any letters or cards  from relatives back in the UK.

Regards Alan Macey

Hi Alan Macey
Pleased to hear another relative add to the link.
I have gone back over the records I hold of Wilmshurst and
my records show John Thomas Wilmshurst, his father William Wilmshurst, his
father John Wilmshurst, his father Stephen Wimshurst and his father William Wilmshurst, taking my record of this to 1690's.

I am sorry, but I don't hold any correspondence at all.  As I have probably already
said, do hold a scrapbook that shows the births and marriages etc of John and Rachels children.  I have also to some extent gathered information on some of the extensions of the family.  Like the minimal basic of the siblings of both John and Rachel, but would love anything on the information that you may hold on the extension of family as in Johns uncle/aunt and cousins, seemingly those left behind back in England.

Wait to hear back

Cheers Gloria
