The Weather widget on your Galaxy phone's Home screen is a very useful service that provides weather information. When using the Weather widget, you can always see the weather for the location you set. However, if the Weather widget doesn't show the location you want, you can simply pick a location and display it on the Home screen. Follow the guide below to change the default location of the Weather widget.

The Weather widget provides weather information for your current location by default. If the location is not the one you want, or if you want to check the weather information for another location, you are able to adjust the location that is shown on the Weather widget. Follow the steps below to adjust the location of your weather service.

I installed a new weather app the other day. I tried to uninstall or disable the default weather, but they are not available. I turned off every notification capability I could find. Removed all permissions, but nothing fixes the problem.

With this app, you can get an idea of the upcoming forecast for your current location with just a glance, seeing not only today's weather but the entire week's. You can also set up a widget on your screen so you check this information without needing to open any app.

One of the best aspects of Samsung Weather is that you can see updates on the weather at all times, specific to your current location, without having to change your location manually when you travel. You can also check the weather in other areas even if you're far away, giving you an idea of the weather in cities you plan on visiting or where your loved ones live.

I know it's only a weather app and 99% of you all dont care about this kind of stuff, but speaking as someone in the design field, this makes me so happy. The devs in charge of had a lot of creative freedom here and it shows.

I have the widget showing when scrolling with the bezel. By default, the widget view shows a summary of the weather. When you tap on this screen, it opens the primary AccuWeather app. By 'Menu Key', I assume you mean the three dots that show on certain screens. This is not an option on either the summary weather widget view, or the primary AccuWeather app screens.

When I tap on the weather widget and the Accuweather app opens, there are no menu dots. I have scrolled from top to bottom; honestly there is no menu option. That was the first thing I looked for when I encountered the issue. I am familiar with the menu dots that appear on some apps, but the Accuweather app does not have that on my watch, honest!

The only way you can change the C-F is to go to APPS on your phone. Then scroll down to weather. Next, to the Weather app you will see a gear for settings * touch the gear and make the change under unit.

On your lock screen double tap the floating clock. It will show various widgets. Weather, calendar, music etc. if weather is there go to Settings of the phone and search for widgets. From there you can unselect Weather or any other widgets. That will solve the problem

In the Weather app, you'll see your location's weather data and other details including alerts, forecasts, the UV index, humidity, wind speed, sunrise and sunset timings, AQI (air quality index), pollen, driving difficulty, and running conditions.

You can also change your weather settings by tapping the gear icon in the navigation menu. Here, you can change the unit of temperature (Celsius or Fahrenheit), give permission to use your current location to get more accurate weather data, and change the frequency of the auto-refresh to quickly fetch new weather data.

You can also enable Auto refresh on the go which uses the physical activity permission on your phone to deliver "more frequent weather updates when you're driving, biking, running, or walking." To add the app to your app drawer and make it easier to find next time, toggle on Show Weather on Apps screen.

The Weather app also has widgets you can add to your Home screen, so you don't have to open the app every time to get weather updates. If you don't like Samsung's Weather app, you can check out these weather apps for Android as an alternative.

Just like the weather app, a number of useful features on Samsung's One UI are hidden and left unused by most people. If you want to get more out of your Galaxy device, it's worth it to spend some time exploring the settings.

ClimaCell is one of the best weather apps for not only Samsung but other Android phones out there. The app offers detailed minute-by-minute forecasts, rain and snow alerts, air quality maps, and wind speeds.

The Weather Channel is free, comprehensive, and has just about everything you need to keep an eye on the sky. The app automatically changes themes based on your location and provides current weather plus hourly weather for the next two days and forecasts up to 15 days in advance. You can set the app to automatically notify you of severe weather alerts as well.

If you've ever installed a Samsung heat pump, or come to think of it a Midea or a Hitachi you will note one similarity. When you set up your weather compensation the advised settings in the manuals are all the same. There are good reasons for this: here goes

If you are really intelligent and amazing at maths, or you know Karolis from Homely you can work out exactly how to set the weather comp curve for your house, if not you follow the guidelines given in the manual. Because there were no guidelines back in 2009 and Karolis was not around I guessed the curve and set the unit up.

My house needs to be heated as soon as it gets to 15 degrees C outside in the garden, we call this the ambient temperature. So I set my radiators to be at 25 degrees C when it was 15C outside. I designed my system to be flat out when it was -2 degrees C outside, so i set my radiators to run at 50C when it was that cold. This is called weather compensation. As the weather gets colder the radiators get warmer. We do it to save energy and to stop the heat pump cycling on and off.

I got so fed up with questions I altered the weather compensation so the radiators never ran less than 37C or blood temperature. If you touch a radiator when its less than 37C it feels dead and cold, at 37C magic happens, it feels like the heating is on.

In 2022 I'm obsessed by run cost, so on my new heat pump, I'm trying to see how hard it is to set the weather comp up to be perfect for the house using nothing other than the weather comp settings in my heat pump. The plan is to run the unit all the time (if its less than 15C outside) but run the radiators at exactly the right temperature to maintain the house at 21C all the time. Its VERY hard to do.

Note how the unit is cycling a bit because I have set the radiators just a bit too warm, i will tweak it down today, also note how as the temperature falls outside the radiators get warmer. this is weather comp in action. If you look closely you can also see that as the water temp rises the outside temperature falls a bit, see if you can work out why? 5 points for the right answer.

I'm slowly tweaking the weather compensation settings down to get it better. Its taken weeks so far. This is not something anyone but a lunatic would try at home. Yes its more perfect than the Lizzie curve, but its lots of work. This is exactly what Homely and the other heat pump optimisers do for you, they the unit to get the very best out of it.

In case you don't see the Weather widget on your home screen, you can add it by pinching the home screen and accessing the Widgets section. You can then tap and hold one of the Weather widgets and drag and drop it on the home screen. Then, you can tap the widget from the home screen to get detailed weather information.

Flex manages five manufacturing centers in Texas, three of which are located in the Austin area and make vehicle parts. Its other two complexes, based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, fabricate components for the healthcare industry. North Texas is currently suffering extensive power outages because of the weather crisis.

UPS warned customers that severe meteorological conditions had impacted its U.S. network now. The firm noted that packages moving through its system may arrive later than anticipated because of the current conditions. The company operates one large facility in Dallas and its main hub in Louisville, Kentucky, a region under a winter weather advisory through Friday.

My weather app stopped working on 1/29. It will not work with a restart of the phone either. A message pops up every few minutes letting me know it stopped working and I can't continue using the phone until I clear the message. Is there an update that I haven't received yet or can I some how stop all the pop-up messages?

Settings > Applications > Application Manager > More (in the upper right-hand corner) > Show System Apps > scroll down to Weather and you should have two of them. Tap the first one, then tap Storage, then tap Clear Data and Clear Cache. Then tap the back button until you're back at the second weather app and repeat the steps, i.e., tap it, then tap Storage, then tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.

That did not seem to work. I have Uninstaller my Weather Channel weather app from my phone. The widget has not been on my screen since it stopped working. I shut off my phone today and then started it back up. It so will not work. I'm am not sure how to update a widget. When I press and hold it does nothing but wait for me to move it to my screen.
