Tuesday night summer practices have drawn to a close, but Band Camp is upon us!

Auxiliary and percussion camp starts Monday 7/18 and runs through Friday 7/22.

New member camp will be 7/21 and 7/22.

Full camp will be 7/25 - 7/29.

Each day will be 8am to 5pm with lunch from Noon to 1:30pm.

Lunch is not provided, but students can stay on campus with a packed lunch or leave campus with their own transportation (be advised that there is no supervision off campus).

Our final day of band camp (July 29th) is extended for the Premier Show.  At 6:00 pm, students will perform all that they have learned for family and friends in the Lyman Stadium!  This year there will be no "Pot-Luck" dinner.  Instead of collecting band fees at the pot-luck, we ask that they are sent in throughout the week.  Students can turn in payments first thing in the morning and will be issued a receipt before the end of the day.  We will also have notaries on campus to notarize medical forms at the end of each day's practice.  Band camp information and the medical form is located on our website: http://www.lymanband.com/#!band-camp/c16yq

Some parent assistance is needed during band camp! Here is the link to sign-up:

Band Fees:

Woodwind, Brass and Percussion students - $200

Marching shoes (optional) - $27

Mellophones, Baritones, Tubas and Percussion Instrument Rental - $100

(Students using different instruments for marching and concert season will only be charged the $100 rental fee, not separately for each instrument)

General Band Camp Information:

LOCATION - At practice field next to stadium (north side of school)

SCHEDULE - The band is generally on the field in the mornings and the last hour or so of each day.  The mid-day hours are mostly spent practicing indoors.

BE READY - Students need to be well hydrated starting the night before and eat BREAKFAST each morning.

BRING DAILY - Plenty of WATER (in labeled refillable container or chilled water bottles), sunscreen, sunglasses, hat or visor, hair ties, lunch, and light snacks for breaks.

Note:
We need cases of water donated to get us through marching season! These can be dropped off at any time during band camp.
