Sofar, Monday does not have the ability to restore deleted files from files column. While browsing the file, it happens many time that you click the icon x and the file is suddenly gone. Since there is on confirmation step, your file could be lost easily.
I would love to see Monday has the ability to restore deleted files
Jepp,
just deleted a file from the Files column by mistake.
It was stupid of me to accidentally delete that important file, but even more stupid that I cant get that file back from the recycle bin.
Is there any new updates on this? Can the file be found somewhere now?
Mac. I just used markup to modify a file that's on DB, and now I'd like to revert back to before the markup. I've gone to the "Version history" screen, but I can't figure out how to restore the previous version. There's no button or link to press on the previous version(s). See screenshot.
You can ONLY recover and restore files that were previously edited to within 30 days for free users, or 120 for paid. So, if that files had been edited on 20th November and previously on 1st November you'd be able to do it.

I've never myself needed to use this feature, so out of curiosity I had a look at how it looks within my documents. As I hover the mouse over the previous versions, a Restore option appears, see screenshot. Does it happen for you? I am using PC, but that shouldn't be so different on a Mac.
Okay, I tried to get a situation similar to your case. I moved a .jpg image from one folder to another and checked the version history. It did not give me a restore option upon hovering, only the statement that the image was moved by user.
Finally I opened the file with a photo editor, made a minor change to it and saved (same name). This changed apperared in the version history, this time WITH and option to restore previous version available upon hovering.
So it appears that moving and renaming is not viewed as a change, but editing a photo or a document is. Hopefully someone with a better insight into how dropbox actually behaves can give you a better answer.
I can see that editing a photo is a change. But I should be able to revert to the photo as it was before I made the change -- I just made the change this morning. Surely DropBox knows about the previous version, right?
Armed with this valuable information, I plugged in my TimeMachine backup (Mac), and checked to see if older versions of the file reside there. I was happy to see they were, and I restored the original file from there.
i have my free account and I deleted my files two months ago can I recover it. I can pay if needed or update my account to a distinguished but I want to recover all of them are almost 10 files and do not exceed 600 mb .

Do you have a backup of your local files? Or of the files on the sync target? If so, you can recover from this. Otherwise the note might still be in the revision table but it's not currently possible to recover it from there.
I realized I was using an old version of Joplin that didn't have the command palette, so I upgraded to 1.8.5. In that version, Command+Shift+P works but "restoreNoteRevision" doesn't appear as one of the commands. I also don't know how to find the note ID, since the note is deleted.
You will need the next version 2.0.x, which is not released yet. For the note ID, there's no easy way to find it so you'll have to get it for example from the "item_id" field of the "revisions" table. You could look at the revisions and find which ones seem to be related to your note.
I deleted a conversation in an Office 365 Group that where I am an Owner. Is it possible to restore the conversation and, if so, where is that done? I cannot seem to find the recycle bin for the Office 365 Group mailbox.
Yeah, we've been trying to get the Group folks to realize that exposing some additional folders for Groups is a must... Anyway, to answer your question, yes, it is possible, but you have to resort to some workarounds. The easier one is to open the Group mailbox via the OWA "add shared folder" functionality - it will expose all the Group folders and you will be able to drag/drop or move the conversation out of Deleted items.
Shared mailboxes are different from Groups, which one are you talking about here? You can check the "recover deleted items" container and in general follow the recovery process outlined here: -us/library/hh125820(v=exchsrvcs.149).aspx
Sorry, perhaps just a mix up in terms. I'm referring to the mailbox associated with the Office 365 group. This message was in the inbox of the Office 365 Group and I cannot find when following the instruction for adding shared folder in OWA. The Group is new so there is no issue with quotas so it stands to reason that it should be in the Deleted Items folder. In fact I deleted a second item from the inbox and it too is not in the Deleted Items folder. I must be looking in the wrong place...
Just getting frustrated with this....... I deleted several messages in an O365 group and cannot find anyway to restore them. Although when I look at the group mailbox statistics, I can see that the deleted item count goes up so the deleted messages are getting logged somewhere. I have gone through adding the mailbox as a shared folder in OWA but the deleted items folder shows up as empty. Anyone have any idea how to restore these please?
Hello, all. Just curious if anyone has successfully restored an Office 365 Group Conversation which was deleted by a "regular" user. So far, we have not been able to do this. Here's what we're seeing:
So what we're seeing is that there is no way to recover a deleted Conversation. I say this because a "regular" user is not going to be accessing the Group using the Add Shared Folder function. They are going to be accessing it using the Groups section within Outlook or OWA.
As explained in the thread above, deleting conversations is no different that deleting a regular message in a mailbox, and the same recovery process applies. The only differences are due to the restricted UI presented for groups, but using EWS or the other workarounds mentioned will do the trick.
I cannot add a Teams group shared folder using this method. I understand Teams groups are (now) hidden from the GAL and the group calendar is disabled (either or both can be enabled with Power Shell). So, how to expose the Recycle Bin for a Teams group mailbox?
The search does not work globally on the backup, the search works only at an open recovery point! For me, this is just a dead end, but I only decided to make a Duplicati the main means of a backup. Is it really so done or I do not understand something?
Yes, a view of your backup files that consolidates all the backup snapshot versions and optionally shows deleted files would be nice. Just need some development resources. Show all versions of a file in the recovery tree [$280] Issue #72 duplicati/duplicati GitHub
Is there any way to restore deleted backup job. I am missing some backup jobs from lastyear, So i wonna know if i can get it back. From backup summery report i can see that the back up completed but i cant find any job. And the retantion are set up correctrly.
@Scott Reynolds Wel i hope not, the retantion on hole SP are the same. We are not using tape, all jobs going to disk libraries. I was wondering if the any way to get deleted jobs back. I am talking about vm backup
I accidentally deleted a changeset and now I can't do anything. Fortunatley, I know the files that changed, so I saved them to a location outside my workspace. My plan was to switch my workspace back to the previous changeset, then copy and paste the new files back in to the workspace.
I deleted a sprint that had open cards/user stories by mistake, I guess. I didn't realize I deleted it until days later when I tried to assign a user story to it and couldn't find it in my backlog. From what I read the open stories moved to the next sprint below. I have a gazillion stories in my backlog and it would be so much easier if there is a way to recover that deleted sprint and restore the stories assigned to it. Note - I did not "finish" the sprint, I deleted it. Thank you!!
they should really have a confirmation pop up before you can delete a sprint that has assigned tickets or that is in progress. i just deleted a sprint instead of closing it and i did not even get the time to react or undo

To locate those stories/tasks etc. you can either go to those issues any link issue like version/ Epic / or parent / child link if any is available and locate these issues and assign them to the new Sprint.
