Below you will find an overview of Vopak's global network of tank terminals. Click on the list or on the map to view the details of our individual tank terminals Read more about our recent and planned expansions on our latest expansion overview.
The robust housings, secure contacting and solidly built electronics are prominent features of Beckhoff components. An I/O station consists of an EtherCAT Coupler and almost any number of terminals. Since up to 65,535 devices can be connected, the size of the network is practically unlimited.
The digital EtherCAT Terminals for generating and processing binary signals are designed as 2-, 4-, 8- and 16-channel terminals. The 16-channel HD (High Density) version compresses 16 digital input and output channels into a standard terminal housing with a width of just 12 mm.
With various connection options, the EtherCAT Terminal system allows optimal adaptation to the respective application. In the ELxxx EtherCAT Terminals, electronics and connection level are located in one housing. The connection interface is available in 8- and 16-pin versions. The 16-pin HD (High Density) terminals are characterized by a high channel density in a housing width of just 12 mm. A further connection interface for increasing the channel density is the ribbon cable connection (e.g. EL1862).
Suitable EtherCAT Terminals are available for all common digital and analog signal types encountered in the world of automation. Fieldbus devices, e.g. for PROFIBUS, PROFINET, CANopen, DeviceNet, Interbus, IO-Link or Lightbus are integrated via decentralized fieldbus master/device terminals. Using the BK1150 or BK1120 EtherCAT Bus Couplers, even the proven standard Bus Terminals with K-bus connection can be connected. Furthermore, the BK1250 allows the mixed-use of Bus Terminals and EtherCAT Terminals in one segment. This ensures compatibility with and continuity to the Bus Terminal system to protect existing and future investments.
The extensive EtherCAT Terminal portfolio offers products for various applications. The ELXxxxx terminals in the blue housing are suitable for use in hazardous areas. They meet all standards and certifications for explosion protection and allow the direct connection of intrinsically safe sensors and actuators.
The ELMxxxx modules are particularly suitable for applications with high requirements for measuring speed and low measurement uncertainty. The measuring terminals in the metal housing offer optimum heat dissipation, measurement uncertainties of
Estimates of the prevalence of eye problems associated with using visual display terminals (VDTs) vary enormously depending on the sample tested and the research methods employed. However, most authors agree that eye problems are common among VDT users. In this paper, the relative contributions of the nature of VDT displays, workstation design, work-practices and optometric factors are discussed, drawing from the substantial body of literature which now exists on this subject.
Run the Terminals: Edit Configuration command to create the configuration file. By default it uses a file named terminals.json under the .vscode directory, you can change this by supplying a custom path using the terminals.configPath setting entry.
You can also define terminals in your Visual Studio Code settings file under the key terminals.terminals. This way you can have global terminals, which are always available, while still having the ability to add some project-specific terminals in your configuration file.
This extension supports some special tokens that you can put in your configuration, they will be substituted with the appropriate value when you execute the terminal. This is especially useful for defining global terminals. Here they are:
PortMiami's cruise terminals -- among the most modern in the world -- have been designed to quickly move passengers from land to sea. Drive-in passengers can opt for convenient on-port parking with special arrangements for travelers with disabilities. For those arriving by taxi, shuttle bus or limousine, drop off is directly in front of each terminal and entryways are designed for a quick and easy check-in and boarding process.
You can open terminals in the editor area (terminal editors) with the Terminal: Create New Terminal in Editor Area command, the Terminal: Create New Terminal in Editor Area to the Side command, or by dragging a terminal from the terminal view into the editor area. Terminal editors are presented like regular editor tabs:
The Tasks feature can be used to automate the launching of terminals, for example, the following .vscode/tasks.json file will launch a Command Prompt and PowerShell terminal in a single terminal group when the window starts:
Split terminals on Windows will start in the directory that the parent terminal started with. On macOS and Linux, split terminals will inherit the current working directory of the parent terminal. This behavior can be changed using the terminal.integrated.splitCwd setting:
